Perfect Pink Dress

With today being the last day of February, I thought what better day to show of this perfect pink dress than today?

Originally I wanted to wear this dress for Valentine’s Day. But, it was with my friend’s mom getting taken in. Now that it fits perfect, I can’t wait to wear it for a number of reasons. For starters the color and silhouette of this dress are just perfect. Add in the fact that it was only $12.95, and I just could not pass this dress up. (Even if it was a little big: but, hey that’s what alterations are for). With spring and summer coming I’m sure this dress will be on heavy rotation.

Denim Shopping

Y’all let me start by saying I hit the shopping jackpot!!

I’ve been in desperate need of new denim for some time now. But I have been dreading actually shopping for new jeans. I love jeans, but shopping for them is a different story. The reason being, I have so many issues when shopping for jeans; I have big hips, I’m short, and I’m extremely picky about the fit.

I knew I would have some time to kill Friday while I was in Jacksonville so, I thought why not head to Nordstrom Rack? When I got there I bee lined it straight to the contemporary denim, and just started loading up my cart. I also noticed they were having a 25% off clearance sale so; I headed there too, and loaded up my cart even more. I must have had about 25 pairs to try on, and the dressing room lady thought I was crazy. After trying on every pair, I decided on the 2 I liked best. And they both happened to be on clearance.

I got a pair of Paige Denim and a Pair of Joe’s Jeans for $80!! If you need anything, especially denim, I suggest heading to your nearest Nordstrom Rack!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day y’all! I hope you’re having a wonderful day; whether you have a special someone or you’re spending it with some friends. My original plan was to have “Galantine’s” day with my roommates but plans changed. Yesterday I drove home to surprise my boyfriend with the help of some friends. He wasn’t expecting it at all. I’m not sure what our plans are since it was so last minute.  But whatever we do I’m just happy to be with him.
