Happy Spring!

 Happy Spring y’all!

Sorry I have been so busy lately with no time to post. Like I’ve said before when I have breaks from school you would think I would be productive; but all I really want to do is absolutely nothing. But, I’m back and have some great outfits coming up.

I don’t know about you but I am over this back and forth weather and completely ready for spring/summer, warmer days, and all that comes with that. So in honor of me being ready for spring I’m bringing you this outfit.

I picked up these shorts last week at Reef a local Tallahassee Boutique. They pair wonderfully with this white top and brown and gold accessories. I can’t wait to wear this for a lunch date or a day trip with the boyfriend; which will hopefully be soon. Because I just found out we will both be home for an entire month at the same time this summer!!

Top: Francescas Collections / Shorts: Reef Boutique (This is their Facebook page as they don't have a website.) / Purse: Michael Kors outlet (similar here and here) / Shoes: Gianni Bini old (similar here) /  Earrings: Target / Watch: Michael Kors / Spike Bracelet: Aldo old (similar here) / Cone Bracelet: Forever 21 old (similar here and here) / Lipstick: Mac Candy Yum-Yum

Here is to hoping spring temperatures arrive for good very soon!

Casual, Comfy, Cool

Happy Spring Break y’all!
I got back from North Carolina yesterday, and had a million things on the agenda for today. With that in mind, I thought the perfect outfit would consist of these three things: Casual, comfortable, and cool. With that in mind, I thought of the classic jeans and a t-shirt. Since it is spring break, and the weather is cooperating, for now any way, I thought why not make it jean shorts. These jean shorts are my favorite go to in the summer and have proved to be money well spent. I threw on my favorite white tee, a light cardigan to be safe, my leopard belt for some fun, and combat boots for the “cool” factor.
This really is the perfect outfit for days when you have a million things to do but still want to look put together.

T-shirt: Target / Sweater: Target / Shorts: Urban Outfitters (urban renewal) / Belt: Target / Boots: Steve Madden / Purse: Michael Kors / Sunglasses: Betsy Johnson / Watch: Michael Kors / Sparkle Bracelet: Target / Spike Bracelet: Aldo old (similar here) / Cone Bracelet: Forever21 old (similar here)

Stripes and Bright's

Everything about this outfit is so fun, from the bright shirt to the striped skirt, and especially the crazy wonka glasses. My favorite piece has to be the skirt though. First of all it’s striped and who doesn’t love a good stripe?? The second reason I love it is because it is neutral. Which means it can be paired with so many different colors on top. It’s a perfect transition piece as well; because it looks great with or without tights, and works with booties or flats. When I bought this skirt a few weeks ago, it was still pretty frigid, so I wanted a long sleeve top to go with it.

I have been in love with cobalt blue lately, and thought it would be the perfect bright color to go with this skirt. Usually I am not successful when I think up outfits in my head but, this time everything came together perfectly.

Top: Target sold out (similar here) / Skirt: Forever21 old (similar here) / Shoes: Bandolino old (similar here) / Bag: Michael Kors old (similar here) / Sunglasses: Chanel old (similar here and here absolutely love these) / Necklace: Nordstrom Rack (similar here) / Bracelet: Target / Affirmation Bracelet: BCBGeneration old (make your own here) / Earrings: Private Gallery old (similar here) / Lipstick: Mac Nicki Minaj no longer sold (similar Pink Nouveau

I’m sure you will see this skirt again, as I can’t wait to wear it all spring and summer paired with bright or pastel colored tops.
