Make-up Monday: Bare Minerals

If you know me, then you know the only thing I love more than clothing, is make-up!! I haven’t done a make-up Monday in forever but this product definitely warrants a post.
I’m sure y’all have heard by now that Bare Minerals came out with a liquid foundation. After reading a ton of reviews I decided I would try it.
Now let me tell you when I say try it, I mean I literally went to Sephora and asked the lady if she could put it on me and give me a sample to try for a couple days. (Well…that isn’t exactly how it went down.)
She let me put it on and I was literally sold right then and there.
I am extremely picky about my make-up as my skin can be dry one minute, and oily the next. This makeup literally goes on so smooth, and feels like you aren’t wearing make-up at all. The best part is you really only need 2-3 drops. I also had some redness on my cheeks at the time, and it immediately was covered up. If you’re in the market for new foundation I would highly recommend this one!

Happy Fall

Happy fall!! The calendar says it’s officially fall and the weather here in FL in the mornings, and evenings, has been agreeing.
I’m so excited for some cooler weather as well as all the fun things fall has to offer.
Today I thought I would show you some of my favorite pieces for fall.
Also for the next couple weeks I thought I would do Fall Friday’s, and show you some of my favorite fall trends, and how I’m wearing them.
Hope you enjoy and grab yourself a PSL or Pumpkin doughnut to celebrate the season.

Game Day Series: Part 2

Game Day Series: Part 2

So, I don’t know about y’all but, when I think football I think fall; which means cooler temps. However, football season in the south usually never comes with cooler temps. It is a struggle to figure out what to wear, how to style your hair, and keep your make-up from melting off your face through tailgating, and then an entire football game.
The one thing (I think), that is the easiest out of all of this, is getting dressed. I love wearing simple dresses with boots sandals to the games. When I do wear boots they are usually regretted later in the day, but as long as I look cute right?! Anyway, I just got this dress for the game this past weekend and I love it.  I must have gotten a million compliments but my favorite part is how effortless my outfit was. With the off the shoulder and crochet detail not many accessories are needed.

Game Day Series: Part 1

For those of y’all that know me you know I am a HUGE football fan. Since FSU had their home opener this past weekend I thought I would dedicate this week to game-day outfits.

I am absolutely in love with this outfit unfortunately; it is usually way too hot to wear something like this to a home game in the stadium. I would save this outfit for when watching an away game at a bar or a friend’s house. I love that I am actually wearing both garnet and “gold” in this outfit since I typically only rock garnet with gold jewelry. The reason I wear more garnet is yellow is not my color even if it’s a yellow gold but when my hair is dark I feel like I can slightly pull it off.

Stay tuned Wednesday for an outfit I actually can wear to a home game in the sweltering heat.

All White Everything

Hey y’all! Sorry I have been MIA for a while. Things have been so hectic with coming back to school, getting settled in, and so much more.

Anyway let’s move onto more fun things like clothing shall we?
I wanted to post this outfit yesterday for Labor Day, since it’s all white. However, I’ve never been one to follow that rule, and just to prove I’m a rebel, I’m posting it today. I have never understood the whole “don’t wear white after Labor Day” thing so, I have never followed it and neither should you. If you want to wear white jeans well into October or even November, you should do it. Also, there’s such a thing as winter white. So if you normally pack away your white jeans, shorts, shoes, etc. but hate it, I challenge you to wear white long into the fall months if it makes you happy.
