USA Soccer

As some of you may know, I am a pretty big sports fan. Mostly football but, I'll get into any sport if I'm there watching it live. Two weeks ago the USA men's soccer team played their last friendly match before the World Cup. Sports, tailgating, a reason to dress American...sign me up.

Being the fashion blogger I am; I started thinking about my outfit weeks ago. I've had these red heart shaped sunnies for a while (as you know, if you follow me on Instagram), and those were the first things that popped into my head. All that was left to find was something white and blue. I love white bottoms in the summer so white shorts were a no brainer. Now I just needed a blue shirt and in my opinion this one is perfect. It's light and airy and not too cropped (which will come in handy with all that tailgate food).

Be prepared to see a few more red, white and blue outfits over the next two weeks with the World Cup and Fourth of July right around the corner. Also who doesn't love showing their American pride just for fun?

Engagement Party Part 1

Usually I keep my blog mostly about fashion but the present I got my friends for their engagement party last week is too good not to share. I actually have to give my momma credit because she came up with the idea and I just made it a little better.

We wanted to do a basket so, my mom thought a cooler filled with stuff would be a great idea since we live at the beach, and it’s something they can reuse it often. We then filled it with a 6 pack of their favorite beer and some beer steins to go with it. Me being obsessed with personalization, I thought we have to get their last name put on it. However, with my boss being out of town, and my BF getting ready to leave town, I quickly ran out of time to order the vinyl. I frantically started googling places in Jacksonville that did vinyl. But when I finally found one, I knew there was no way she could get it done in one day. To my surprise she was more than happy to cut a big “T” for the cooler and two smaller ones for their glasses. I am beyond ecstatic with how the gift turned out and hope they love it just as much as I do.

If you are in need of monogramming I highly recommend Monogramsical. It’s great quality at a great price. She ships nationwide so be sure to check out her website for your vinyl needs and much much more.

Red Hot Summer

I don't know about where y'all live, but regardless of what the calendar says summer weather is in full swing down here in Florida!

Memorial Day was one of the hottest weekends we've had so far. That weekend we had a party to go to for one of my boyfriend’s co-workers. I wanted to be a little festive so I decided to wear this red maxi. I love maxi dresses for any occasion. I think they are perfect for summer, especially at the beach, and in case it gets a little cool at night. I’m pretty short and this one is a bit long, but I just roll the elastic band once and it's the perfect length. My favorite part about maxi dresses are, they can be dressed up or down, and they are so easy and comfortable to wear.

Dress: Old Navy *on sale along with all dresses / Shoes: old (similar here) / Purse: MK outlet (similar here) / Necklace: Nordstrom Rack (similar here) / Sunglasses: Betsey Johnson old (exact same here) / Watch: Michael Kors / Spike Bracelet: Forever21 old (similar here) / Cone Bracelet: Forever21 old (similar here

What about y'all do you love maxi dresses as much as I do? Or are you more of a short dress kind of girl?
