Flashy

Flash tattoos are quickly becoming the hottest accessory this summer. I first heard about them from a girl I work with around Fourth of July. We quickly ordered them at my job, and now I am OBSESSED!

They are so much fun and come in a variety of packages and prints. They range from jewelry inspired pieces; to cute tattoo inspired things like feathers, palm trees, writing, and more. I love wearing some of the non-jewelry pieces for special occasions such as birthdays, vacations, concerts, etc.
The ones that are more jewelry inspired, you can wear them on a more day-to-day basis. I really like mixing a few tattoo pieces with actual jewelry to dress up an outfit.

If you haven’t gotten some of these fun tattoos yet I highly suggest you pick some up especially before summer ends.

Transitional

A few days ago I promised myself I would only buy transitional or fall/winter pieces. While we still have plenty of summer left down here in Florida, come October I will be packing my bags and be heading to NYC for 2 months. Being the Florida gal I am my fall/winter wardrobe is seriously lacking. Hence my promise to only buy transitional pieces.

Moving on to this top; I absolutely love how soft it is and how the front gives it a tucked in effect without it actually being tucked in. Right now this is great with white shorts and come fall throw on some jeans and a utility vest and you have a totally different look. I love when you can get so much out of one piece.

Rainy Day Essentials

Living in Florida it rains A LOT in the summer. Literally, every day you can depend on at least a light shower.

Since it does rain so much, I thought I would put together my rainy day essentials. If you’re anything like me, rainy days mean curling up with my pup and having a Netflix marathon. However, sometimes it is necessary to venture out in the rain. So when you do, having cute rain gear makes it somewhat more bearable.
