Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas y’all.
I’ll make this post short and sweet.

I truly hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday with his or her loved ones. This time of year is so special, and I just want to say thank you so much for reading.
I hope Santa brought you everything you want and most importantly, that you can be celebrating this wonderful day with friends and family. I am so lucky to be visiting North Carolina and celebrating Christmas with my mom, dad, brother, and nephew over the course of today and tomorrow. I haven’t spent Christmas with all of them in 5 years.

Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
If you’re anything like me, you still have some extremely last minute shopping to do, and are running around with all the other crazies today.
Since I knew my momma and I would be shopping, taking in a movie and grabbing a bite to eat, I wanted to be comfy but festive. This scarf is always the answer for when you want to be comfy.  And I knew it would be perfect to double as a blanket during the movie.
As for the festive part this red Kate Spade bag fit the bill perfectly. I ordered it at the beginning of the month, and haven’t stopped using it since it arrived. It’s the perfect size (if you’re like me and need to carry everything you own) and the color is perfect for this time of year.
Hope y’all have a great Christmas Eve and are ready for tomorrow’s festivities.

Graduation

This past Saturday was a big day for me. I finally graduated from Florida State University. As I’m sure some of you know graduation brings on a huge wave of mixed emotions. Today I’m going to go a little off my typical blog posts and get a little personal.

While I am extremely happy and proud to be finished with the college chapter of my life, I’m now feeling scared and extremely uncertain.  I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life but there’s also a part of me that wishes I was just home for Christmas break and would be starting classes in January.

Florida State was some of the best times of my life. I made amazing new friends, and truly found myself and what I am capable of, while I was there. I know the next few weeks. To the next few months, may be extremely challenging, while I try and figure out what I want to do. I think the hardest part for me is that I could end up in a variety of different places from somewhere in Florida, to NYC, to Atlanta, to a handful of other places. Luckily I have an amazing support system in my family, friends, and boyfriend and know I will end up in the right place for me.

If any of you have advice on life after graduation please feel free to leave any comments below. I welcome any advice or feedback with this huge change in life!
