Goodbye 2013

Today we say goodbye to 2013, and what better way to do that than taking a look back at the year? 2013 was a huge year for me. For starters I moved to Tallahassee, and started FSU; Which was one of the biggest things 2013 had in store for me. I also made a ton of new friends, started this blog, turned a year older, (of course) moved into two different apartments, and so much more. 2013 was a great year for me, and I know 2014 is only going to be better.

A Day Late

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all got everything you asked for but, more importantly, I hope you are enjoying time with Family, and Friends. Holiday Shopping Madness

Holiday madness is in full swing. If you are anything like me, you’ve waited until the last minute to do some, or in my case ALL, of your Christmas shopping. I knew at some point this week I would be running around like a crazy person, trying to get everyone’s gifts. So, I knew something comfortable, yet stylish, would be key for sitting in traffic, fighting through crowds, standing in endless lines, and much more. The key to any outfit with all these things involved is a comfortable shoe. I’ve had these boots for a couple months now, and they are perfect for all the above. I could wear them for hours, and hours, walk all over the place, and my feet will be fine. They were also an awesome score considering they’re Sam Edelman, and I paid only $178.  Since I got them at a Nordstrom rack I have linked some similar looking ones, although, I can’t vouch if they are as comfortable as mine.

Santa Baby

Now that finals are over, I can focus my attention on more enjoyable things; such as what I want for Christmas. Normally I have a hard time finding things to add to my wish list but this year is an exception…I have far, far too many things on my list. I’ve put together a list of wants in case you’re like my typical self, and have no idea what to ask for. At the top of my list is a trip to the national championship to see the NOLES play. However, if Santa can’t pull that off, I would be satisfied with any of these as backups.

Lady Leather

Finals are OVER!!!! In a college town that only means one thing…time to celebrate! Friday after finals I knew it would be time to hit the town, and paint it red. So, what better way to do that than in (faux) leather pants?! I bought this pair last year before I went to NYC. But, I did not wear them until about a month or two ago. To be honest, I don’t know what I was waiting for. These have quickly become a favorite of mine so definitely expect to see these again. I think the thing I love most is they aren’t leggings but they aren’t quite pants either; they’re somewhere in between, and in my opinion absolutely perfect.

Since I wasn’t sure what the night had in store, I wanted to make sure I would fit in no matter where the night took me. I paired them with this longer chevron top to keep me warm but, still trendy. I added these fun wedges for a nice pop since the rest of the outfit is pretty neutral. Needless to say this was the perfect outfit to end finals week in.
