Fall Trend Friday: Fringe

Hey y’all.

So today I have 2 things to share with you.

First things first: I’m a blonde again!! Normally I like to go dark in the winter but I’ve been somewhat on the darker side for a while now. So I decided to change things up before I moved to NYC last week!

Second, it’s a huge trend for fall; which is fringe. I love this trend and can’t get enough. You can find it on jackets, boots, and purses, literally everywhere. I got this purse almost 2 months ago and finally got a ton of use out of it this week. I like that it can be worn two ways, which you can see in the photos below. I also must say the city is bringing out my inner badass. I’ve been wearing a lot of black, white, grey, leather, etc. and this fringe purse is the perfect touch.

Uniform

The last week and a half, I have had a go to outfit or a uniform if you will.

With temperatures being a little cooler, I can’t stop wearing jeans and button downs.

In my opinion it’s just so easy to throw on and you instantly look put together.

I also cannot stop wearing these booties; that I am absolutely in love with.

Last Wednesday I went to dinner with some friends and this was probably my favorite variation of my “uniform”. I’ve been trying to wear my white jeans as much as possible before I make the move up north. And with the chambray shirt and taupe booties, I think this is the perfect transitional outfit. I paired it with a deep red lip, which as I said Monday is perfect for fall.

Make-Up Monday: Lipstick Addict

Today for make-up Monday, I’m talking all about lipstick. If you know me then you know lipstick is probably one of my favorite things about doing my make-up. Below I put together 4 lipsticks that I think are essential for fall.

The first one is a purple color. I absolutely love this for fall, and feel like it’s one of those shades that are a little harder to pull off in summer, because it’s on the darker side. This one is in the middle and has some pink in it so you could wear it all year round but, will definitely be on repeat this fall for me.

The second is a red. In my opinion it’s always the perfect time for red lips. But, this one is a deeper red, so it’s more appropriate for a fall/winter color. But like I said you can wear red lips all year long if it’s the right hue so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

The third is a pink. While pink isn’t really a fall color, I just picked this one up and will be rocking it in fall and winter this year. It’s perfect for spring also so be prepared to see it a lot.

Lastly I did a nude. While I’m typically not a nude gal, it’s important to have them in your bag. This one is a little on the dark side, which is perfect for an evening out with a smoky eye.
