Leopard Love

Hi my name is Katie, and I’m addicted to leopard print.

I just thought we should get that out of the way up front, because I am slightly obsessed. Now before you think my entire room is leopard let me rephrase that previous statement. I don’t love “everything” leopard but in clothing, and accessories, if done correctly, I can’t get enough of it. I’m not sure where this love of leopard came from, but it’s safe to say I own an excessive amount of leopard print. When I saw these pants I knew they had to make their home in my closet. They are on trend with the slight harem style, and did I mention they are extremely comfy. I mean seriously it’s like wearing your pajamas. They pair great with flats or heels, but since I’m short I like them best with heels.

Fur-ocious

When this trend first emerged, I must admit, I was a little skeptical. I could never bring myself to wear real fur but faux fur… sure why not. Back in August I started looking for a good fur vest, because I knew I wanted one for the fall/winter. When I came across this one, I quickly fell in love with it, and ordered right away. After it arrived in the mail, I knew I had made the right decision. The collar is oversized which is one of my favorite things about the vest for two reasons; the first, it gives it a luxe look, and second, it keeps me extra warm. Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Let me start by saying I’m sorry it has taken me so long to post. I’ve been getting ready to come back to school.  So, I spent every waking minute with friends, and family. And after I got back to school, all my focus was on the National Championship game. However, I am back, and ready for 2014!

I guess here is where I would write, and tell y’all my new year’s resolutions. But, I have never really believed in those. Instead I will write, and tell you about some things I’m excited for in 2014. First of all I’m very excited to continue this blog adventure. I started my blog late in 2013, but, now I have an entire year to write, and make this blog the best it can be. This year will also bring me to an internship, possibly two, in the fashion industry. And finally, I will be graduating at the end of this year, and who knows maybe even getting my first big girl job before 2014 is over. Cheers to you 2014! I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me this year.
